Account and data deletion in the Measure and RTK.my apps

You can delete your account and all its data at any time.

The Measure and RTK.my apps have a shared account (sign-in with Google). Deleting the account removes it from both apps, including RTK bases on our caster.

In the app (fastest)

1. Open the Measure app.
2. With a Google account: go to Settings → Account, tap Delete account and confirm. The account and its data are deleted from all devices with this account.
3. Without an account: go to Settings → Data, tap Withdraw consent and delete my data and confirm.

Data on our server and on the phone is deleted immediately.

In the RTK.my app: open About (at the bottom of the start screen), in the Account section tap Delete account and confirm. This deletes the same account as in step 2, including its bases. RTK.my settings and passwords for other casters are only on the phone; you delete them by uninstalling the app or clearing its data in Android settings.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app, write to us at hello@measure.my:

• Signed-in users: send the request from your account's email.
• Without an account: include your installation identifier (in the app under Settings → Data). Without it we cannot find your data, because we do not collect your name or email.

We will handle the request within one month at the latest and confirm it to you by email.

What we delete

• the account and its identifier, email and profile photo,
• RTK bases on the caster caster.rtk.my, their NTRIP logins, data stream state, notification settings, recorded base data and computations of their position,
• test and measurement recordings including positions, raw measurements and sensor data,
• projects, points, lines, areas, photos and videos,
• corner checks and test results,
• error reports linked to your installation,
• installation identifiers of the RTK.my app linked to the account,
• download counts of the list of stations and points,
• your nickname and photos for comments that have not yet been approved.

What remains

• Summaries in the phone leaderboard (e.g. the average accuracy of a model) without location and without your identity. They are no longer personal data.
• Ratings, comments, approved photos and condition reports on points remain public as "anonymous user", without any link to you.
• Database backups are overwritten gradually; deleted data disappears from them within 30 days at the latest.
• Data we must keep by law, for the period set by law.

Data that a base passed to other casters (e.g. RTK2Go) cannot be deleted by us – it is controlled by their operators. If you want it removed, contact them.

Login details for correction services and other casters are never on our server – they stay only on your phone. They are deleted by the button in the app, by uninstalling the app or by clearing its data.
